Metropolitan Opera names Portland Opera resident artist a finalist in prestigious auditions

Nicole Haslett, holding mirror, is currently singing in Portland Opera's "Postcard From Morocco" at the Newmark Theatre through March 29. Nicole Haslett, a soprano in Portland Opera's resident opera program, made it to the finals of the Metropolitan Opera National Council Auditions in New York, Sunday.
