Heather Yakin: New I-STOP law uses database to block Rx 'doctor shopping'

As of Tuesday, physicians in New York are now required to check the state's Internet System for Tracking Over-Prescription - or I-STOP - when they prescribe a narcotic painkiller or other scheduled controlled substance.
